is I got myself a gun,
and I robbed the first

Sometimes you gotta show
em your teeth.
Went out to sea,
where I had me some drinks,

Captain’s demands. He said,
“Boy, I’m gonna beat you.”
I said, “Sir, you’re gonna
need to. If you wanna
keep your ship outta
my hands.”

you don’t see the boy

I got me some cash, and
I don’t really care what

Neglected and beat, like
a dog in the street.
Now this rabid dog
gets his day in the sun.

The pup became
a dog, and the dog
